Need to update the FAQ with information on how to reenable 1394 GUID and LAN MAC using the two tools Asrock sent Monographix, since there's more users of this board having this issue.

I'll get round to it once I've restored my Raid0 to my RAID5 array. Big amounts of data unfortunately, so I'll probly get it up by Sunday-ish!
Thanks for the input

You got the files? (The mail with the files i sent to BT also returned back. I think this forum needs a pm/email function)

Nope, I don't think it would be good for us to host them. I think we should wait for BT to get permission to host them. I'm sure he's on the case, and when it's done I'll be sure to update further.

Had to rate this thread so others can find it easier since stickiness has proven to be elusive.
Also, here's the zips for fixing MAC and 1394 GUID issues.

Instructions are simple. :)
1394 GUID is located on a sticker attached to the floppy connector. Run fwguid from pure dos. Either Command Prompt using F8, or a boot disk. I use 98se boot disk and keep my d: partition in FAT32 just for bios and nv flashing, as well as using tools such as fwguid. For fwguid commands, simply place /? after the executable. Type in your guid addy and restart. All fixed. :D

Do update the FAQ with the GUID recovery tool
