Default Jetway I35P-SG Review

Jetway I35P-SG overclocks to 510x6 LinkPosted on 10/08/2007 @ 04:40 PM

Jetway, a 2nd tier manufacturer has created this highly overclockable mainboard I35P-SG. We overclocked it to 6 x 510MHz.

Jetway I35P-SG is based on the Intel P35 Express Chipset +Intel ICH9 Chipset. It runs the Intel Intel LGA775 Core Processor Family up to FSB 1333MHz. Memory wise, it supports Dual Channel DDR2 800 / 667 Memory DIMMs.

The board supports a dual PCIex16 slot (4+16 electrically) for CrossFire. It also supports 6 Serial ATA2 Devices with RAID 0,1 function using ICH9 and Jmicron JMB363 (2 SATAII + 1 IDE). The south bridge also supports 12 USB2.0 Connectors. The board also comes with GbE, 8 HDA, eSATA
Just like most overclocking boards from Jetway, this board comes with CPU Vcore 7-Shift. It also has voltage adjustments for VDIMM, VCore, NB, SB, FSB voltages.

Actually i am surprised ,
Have this board for a few weeks , it is amazing
Run my E6300 at 7x515 fsb ( Titan Tec Amanda Cooled )......runs more stable than my last one - 965P-DS3 for shure
Give this board a chance

Will be nice to see more people in Jetway section here

Yes, yes! Bump for CPU-Z validated link/screenie
And it is really Prime stable? Any special fans pointing at the mainboard itself?

Oh , i see this post to late
Dont have this mobo anymore but if remember correctly i did many ortos tests , and only once after 12h ortos one of the cpu cores stoped
7-8h ortos is not problem i think
Never post any results anywhere cuz mine goal is 24h ortos stable, less than 24h is not stable foir me ( i was forced to sell it emergency, soo i stop tests here)
Many ppl sayed that 8-12h ortos stable is enough to say that wall is climbed , but not for me
Here is only place where i say that mine 515 is stable , but actualy i never pass 24h .not have enough time
Usualy after 7-8h i stop and make some ajustments and start again.
All 3d marks 03/05/06 -( loop everyone for 4 times ) - not a problem
All tests not freez and artefacts , run smootly
Dont have entire PC anymore , soo cant do tests again , sorry
Memory was Corsair XMS2 UL8000 2x512 kit
Cooled with Titan Tec Amanda ( never go high tnah 60"C)
i dont use fans to blow at the mainboard also
Acualy chipset heatpipe do really well (my DS3 was hot as hell)
My GFX GF8800GTS 320M stock coled/stock clock as well
I am curently with P5K-E , not a challengeble board at all
It is pretty easy - dont like it , plan to sell until end of this month
Need more agrsive board to play with it

EDIT
Hey blue , your review was the mine reason to buy this mobo and i was never regret it
Ths mobo have plenty of options to play and if you have one of these modern ddr2 ram stick that reach 1200+ i am prety shure that this is not the limit of this board(My 6300 cpu is great also)
My friend blow his last mobo and i give this to him
Hi is hapy to have it as well (seams 6550 cpu is not OC well as 6300)

EDIT2
Oh , you waking my passion again and i really sorry that i dont have this mobo anymore.Just re-read you revew again , seams your ram is not like higher fsb (read at many places that Corsair CMX1024A-8500C5 dont like higher fsb and not clock well :( ,but never have it and i am not shure )
Also , read many good things about CRUCIAL Ballistix DDR2 1066 soo if you have one of these and a lot better cooling and one grat e6300 try again , i am shure you can beat 515 more than easy

Also , just check Jetway site , OMG , a few months ago there was a picture and model for upcomming P35 board (looks really good with solid hitpipe everywhere over the mobo) but now there no sighn of this,Do they cancel it,Damn , it was look really nice
