The GeForce® 6100 GPU and NVIDIA nForce® 405 MCP is an innovative mix of north and south bridge chipsets on a single chip that represent a major achievement in integrated solutions. To consumers, this MicroATX, RoHS compliant solution is a highly expandable and best cost-performance Microsoft Vista®ready motherboard.
The A13G+ supports AMD Athlon 64 FX, Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core, Athlon 64, Sempron Socket AM2 processors as well as AMD’s new AM2 Energy efficient microprocessors. The single chip features DirectX 9 and Shader Model 3.0. Shader Model 3.0 enables users to experience fast graphics rendering, smooth video processing and clearer displays.
For high capacity storage, the P13G+ offers two SATA with RAID 0, 1, two PATA devices, built-in 10/100 Ethernet and eight USB 2.0 interfaces. The integrated High Definition Audio delivers high-quality surround sound vital to entertainment applications. Based on AMD's AM2 Socket processor, the A13G+ supports the dual channel DDR2 architecture. It provides higher memory bandwidth up to DDR2 800 SDRAM memory up to 16 GB for overall performance.
