hehe, i was just posting about Asus A8V Deluxe but found your topic,
i'm searching for a not too expensive 939 mobo to replace my just bought asRock 760gx for socket 754.

The Asus A8V Deluxe seems to be one of the cheapest 939 mobo with the MSI K8T Neo2-F Motherboard, both under 100$, both AGP.
the asRock 939 A8X-M, under 80$, is not good at all for oc, with Ali chip doesnt have any bus lock...

I need to know about Asus A8V Deluxe what is the max front side bus that can reach.
I would need a fsb of 270 for the venice 3200, or at least 290 for the cheaper venice 3000(200x9),
Is Asus A8V Deluxe able to perform like that?

What is the voltage range that i can set?

Does Anyone is performing good overclock with this board?

Help me please

I have obtained a 330mhz HTT with this board, but had to run the ram asynchronously... I cannot get the memory to go faster than 250mhz. I am running both generic ddr400 as well as Patriot PDP tccd based ram on it. Neither will go any faster than 250mhz on the ram. I still have some things to try before I give up completely. I want to place an active cooling heatsink on the chipset package, and try to place some heatsinks on the mosfets to see if that solves the memory problems..... I think the circuitry is getting too warm and causing instability in the ram.

My maximum d2ol and superpi stable speed has been 2.8 ghz with a winchester 3000+ cpu. Not a bad overclock, but not matching what other boards on the market are capable of.
