I have bought an T-bred 1700+(1800+) and after I have flashed the latest BIOS, 3D Matk 2001 SE freezes just before displaying the results; all the test are completed flawlessly.
Any clue ?
......Same processor, previous BIOS, no probs :(

Taking into consideration the fact that that this bios enables SSE, it is quite possible to meet an incompatibility issue. I mention again; before flashing the bios, no problems, after that, the first program ran was 3DMark 2001 SE. No other program gives me instability issues (so far, hopefully)

Try reinstall Windows. If you installed windows without sse enabled (using previous bios or previous CPU) then perhaps you get problems like this if you don't reinstall.

as it is techincally only a 'beta' bios i suggest you flash back to your previous bios... all indications are that at the moment with SSE results are slightly slower.
