oh yes, it is a good and cheap board.
Bud after my board with Rev.3.1 has lost
its c-mos
I am much frustrated.
Because I RMA the old one and the failure
is back again.
So I think about changing to
Albatron KX400-8x for approx. 70€

It was a great, cheap mobo ... but it's starting to look very dated now. No official 166 FSB support has effectively killed any hope of running any CPUs released from now on. Also, it doesn't have serial ATA, USB 2, firewire, ATA133. And, with every week that the L7S5A is delayed, it looks less and less likely that ECS will have another good, cheap board to replace it.

That said, I still have 2, and gave another to my mother and haven't had the slightest hint of a problem with any of them.

I agree with backwoodz - never again.

My answer comes in 2 parts. Cheap? Yes. Good? Not reliable enough, too many startup and ongoing problems. So no.

Shocked....

Edit: interesting how the poll results are reflecting the thread started by Groovetek...
