Hi all
AS I know K7S8XE+ supports Serial ATA and K7S8XE no.
Are there other differences ?
I don't intend to use serial ATA and don't want to pay more only for this feature.
I have read about "Hybrid booster-safe overclocking features" for K7S8XE+. Is there this feature also for K7S8XE ?

Now that the K7S8XE Rev 3 has the Hybrid booster the Serial ATA is the only difference.
Just make sure you are buying a Rev 3 board

as far I have seen the only differance is the S-ATA, The K7S8XE rev 3 as well the K7S8XE+ do have hybrid booster and U-COP.
reading the K7S8XE+ manual it should support working with IDE and S-ATA together but S-ATA only in a RAID Configuration. :D

I have just purchased the board and am running a 12 Gig SATA as my boot drive.
A 40 Gig 100 ATA as an additional drive and DVD reader, DVD writer and A CDreader writer on the IDE.
Thats 1 SATA and 4 IDE all work in perfect harmony.
The SATA does no need to be in RAID.
Hope this helps
You must make sure the SATA driver is installed when widows asks for any additional drivers in the install.
