:( I bought this motherboard 1 week ago, and it was everything just fine, oc 2.5ghz a 1.45 volts.
Cant use 2t, and i updated the bios with ocwbeta3 that i downloaded from this web.
Then i tried the vcore mode, took my motherboard i used iron solder and a 25watts cautin pencil.
I connected the two solder points, i cheked out if i connected anotherone by mistake, everything look fine.
Then my motherboard didnt post again tried a lot of times, i though that vcore mod didnt work, so i desolered the vid4 and the sgnd.
And the motherboad is not working anymore!! everything turns on, but i dont have video signal.
Please help

What's even more funny is i did the mod with a Circuit Writer and my computer is also not posting. I did bend a few pins on the cpu since the damn thing came right out along with the HSF, AS5's fault not mine, hehe. I also tried bending the pins back on the CPU. Come on! I know there is more people out there with funny stories, let's hear them! I KILLED MY BOARD, MUHAHAHHAHAHAHA!

i am alittle bit luckier than some of you... i let my frd do the vmod and he broke my "coldheat", also the iron on the VID4 spot came off since he pressed too hard. then my pc couldn't boot.
so i was pissed becoz i got no tool to solder it bak and my pc couldn't boot.
but then i walked to the oven and turn it on and place a screw driver inside then it heat up the screw driver... so i finally got my pc bak to live and did the vmod :D

So after your buddy did the Vcore Mod on your board you were having problems posting as well? Now how did you just fix it by redoing the solder? That sounds odd man, you sure? Anyhow i won't know if i have a bad CPU or Motherboard until i order my DFI board this week, MUHAHAHAHAHHAHA.

reason it couldn't boot becoz my frd removed the iron on the spot VID4. i can see there is a very tiny wire coming out from VID4 and goes to the chip. i think that iron connect that little wire to the chip, as my frd removed that iron so the pc couldn't boot. i just solder it bak then it worked.
