Hello, I have an asus a7v with a sound blaster live value card in it under win2k sp2. when i play mp3s in winamp, while downloading things or working in certain applications, i hear popping, crackling noises in the music. i think this is a common problem. what is the fix? if anything, could someone point me to a thread where this problem has been solved? thanks.

Double-click "Creative Miscellaneous Drivers". In there's you'll find it. There, you can disable it.
BTW, did you install the latest VIA 4-in-1 drivers? It's version 4.34. You can get them here.
