A friend of mine is planning to get a new system over the winter break, and is currently considering the Asus A7v8x. Does anyone have any opinions on this motherboard, if it's the best value for performance, etc?

I've also read about the A7n8x with the Nforce2 chipset; any thoughts on that board over the last?

If you guys were building a new system, are either of these the best boards that you would go with (looking at a pricerange of around $125)?
