Question

Ok, so my motherboard sucks and I wanna get the A7S333. From what I've read so far, it seems that it's a nice board save that PnP issue. My question is, if I disable the Plug and Play on the board, does that mean that it's gonna get disabled in my OS as well? And that I'd have to go and install all the hardware manually within Win2k? Yeah, I'm dumb and I don't know.

Basically, the bottom line is that I'm an incredibly lazy person, should I buy this motherboard or is it gonna give me a major headache like my K7S5A did with the clocking and all?

Thanks for any advice.

Turning off plug&play does not turn off the plug and play ability of Windows. It just changes the way windows works with your system hardware.

If you want overclocking, I'm not so sure this is the board for you. It works ok but there are better overclocking boards. Consider a KT333.
