Question

Newegg has very interesting processors. I found out Athlon 64 DTR 3000+ and this is similar to normal 3000+ (2GHz, 512kb cache l2, 1.5V) but without heatspreader.
And Athlon 64 Mobile 3000+ with 1.8GHz and 1MB cache L2 and 1.4V.
- Which one is better ? Better for overclocking of course. Anyone has any experience with Athlon 64 DTR or Mobile. Mine is only with Desktop model 3200+.
- Will there be no problem with cooling DTR/Mobile processor with ie. Zalman 7000Cu (no problem with desktop version) ?
- Will Chaintech nForce3 250 mainboard recognize corectly DTR/Mobile Athlons ?
I'm going to buy DTR/Mobile processor and need some answers. Thanks in advance.

Some boards have trouble staring up the DTR processors at anything other than their minimum P-State, which means without a BIOS update they will never run at full speed. I don't know if every manufacturer has put support for these CPUs into their BIOS yet/ever will.

No idea at all about the mobiles.
