I know that newegg.com has had the Gigabyte board for a couple of weeks now but it's $230 :-\ ... I was holding out for the MSI board because it was rumored to have a target price of $165
not quite $165 but we'll see what newegg prices it at :D
link for MSI 655 FISR
$181.95
just did a search to be sure I had the latest pricing
http://www.computergate.com/products...rodcd=B8M67301
$169.95
also if you don't need the RAID and take a step down to 10/100 ethernet instead of gigabit
http://www.computergate.com/products...rodcd=B8M67303
$114.96
NOW that is a steal

You can also find the Gigabyte GA-8SQ800 for about $110. It is the stripped down version of the GA-SINXP1394.

I kind of like the AOpen board, not sure about the 2-phase power though. I have an EPoX board with that and the voltage bounces quite a bit.
I'm looking at something fairly stripped down, don't really want onboard RAID (got my eye on a 3ware 7500LP card) and I don't need HT for now.
Everyone tells me to checkout Newegg, though I have had good luck with GoogleGear.
