hey everyone...

i've been running my winbond ddr400 in slot 1, and my second stick on slot 2... I've heard some rumours that having the second stick on slot 3 is better, as it's closer to the cpu or something...

can anyone confirm this?

p.s. - not that i'm complaning... 10 x 200, cas2-5-2-2... i just can't be stuffed opening my case and stuff... if it wont' make a difference.

yes, normally it's this way- the closer you are to the CPU the better is the signal quality, so you can OC better. But: my single DDR module works best in Dimm1 ( bank 0 ), which has the biggest distance to the CPU...
