Hello.

I would like to join the team but I have a dumb but necessary question at first

Do I need to be online for the time the client is running?

Thank you in advance ;)

Glad to see your interested in the D2ol project.

No, you don not have to be online while folding.

What you can do is install the program and on the upper left side of the screen are 3 buttons, the green dot is the online offline button, just select offline. Before you do that select the Check mark button and change the candidate queue size to 2000.
Then restart the program. This will give you about 2 to 3 weeks worth of work if your folding full time.

When you want to upload, click the online button and do a manual update. it will upload your results and download new ones.

Good luck, let us know how you come along.

BWD

LOL I am currently not able to register since my email adress is too long for the registration form.
Sent a mail to the webmaster, let's see what will happen.

My machine has now be running for 10 hours and I have 39 results to upload. Won't do this till I am into the team.

Made it to work. Unfortunately there's an error in the registration form. The Database may be capable to handle 255 letters, not the field to fill in your email.

All I could do was delete the entered email, but also I lost my original node ID and 10 hours of crunching work :(

My machine brought it to 162 finished tasks within the last 48 hours, is this a a rather good or bad result?
