I downloaded D2OL daddy and It does not seem to work. I am watching windows XP task manager while doing other work on my computer and the processor speed stays pegged at 100% while folding.
I currently have D2OL daddy in a randon desktop folder. My D2OL client is in C:/programfiles do I need to put D2OL buddy into C:/programfiles in order for it to work? Or should it work running it from any random desktop folder? Thanks in advance.

no...
D2OL(actually DockWin) runs CPU at 100%. It's supposed to. It's PRIORITY is set to minimum so it doesn't stop you from doing other tasks. Sometimes, it's priority gets changed up to normal and it can cause D2OL to start slowing down other things, like surfing, this is when D2OLDaddy is needed. It checks priorities to ensure D2OL is set to low at a set interval...
Hopefully, this makes sense...

I was trying to replicate what Grumpy experienced a few threads down, with no success. Here is what he did with D2OL Buddy, but my processor stays at 100% no matter what I do. Thanks in advance.
Grumpy Quote:"It is interesting to get Task Manager on the scree and scroll up an down a web page at the same time. Windock.exe goes rpm 99% cpu down to around 65 just by scrolling a Web Page"

dfed, it's supposed to be at 100%. It essentially replaces your system idle proccess service.

Grumpy is only pointing out that scrolling a webpage takes up 35% of his cpu for those few seconds... ;)
