Wimax, which allows one to surf wirelessly from office, coffee shops, in the open is now available in Singapore. The first commercially available plans are now rated at almost half the price of the ADSL and Cable broadband plans.
The Wireless Internet plans are of a 24 mths contract and there is an activation fee of almost S$73.35.
So far, there are two plans for the end users
256dn/128up is rated at S$22.95 and 512dn/256up is priced at S$31.35
There is another Business plan for SOHO which is priced at S$94.35
So will you switch from your current fixline broadband to wireless broadband? Discuss
