Talking 900 series AMD chipsets and SLI support list

Hi everyone.
I am building a system and was considering the ASRock 970 Extreme 4 mobo. Going through the specs I noticed that it supports only certain graphic cards in SLI. Particularly, I don't see an nVidia GTX 560 Ti 448 cores among them as well as some other latest cards. Moreover, I checked the other mobos with AMD 9xx chipsets including the top models, but they all only have that same SLI support list.

So I was wondering - are they really not supported or has the list simply not been updated for some time?

Which other brands of AMD 9xx did you check that does not support 560TI in SLI ?

Suffice it to say that Fatal1ty 990FX and 990FX Extreme4 have almost identical SLI support lists. Fully identical for 2-way SLI configurations.

Oh, when I mentioned other mobos, I meant specifically ASRock AM3+ mobos. As for other brands... well, let's say I didn't see any "SLI support lists" at all. At least for Gigabyte and Asus mobos. The card is claimed to be fully SLI compliant as the 990FX and 990X chipsets.

Maybe you can consider another brand which has full support of SLI on the board.
